Body Restoration® a.k.a. Bodyrest, is an urban spa overlooking Philadelphia's high-end retail district. Cozy and intimate, the focus is on waxing, facials, massage and bodywork. Five treatment rooms, plush robes and sandals, shower, tea selection and relaxation lounge, experience restorative spa therapies performed with passion and presence.
Bodyrest started as the expansion of Cara Solomon's skin care and massage therapy practice. Cara saw all of her clients by appointment in a single treatment room inside the Medical Arts Building. Having worked in several spa-like environments from hotel health spas, skin care clinics and hair salons with spa services, Cara saw the need for a specialty spa focusing only on body and skin. In 1999, she opened her private practice with the goal of developing into a small spa.
