Boca Raton Rotary Club Announces 2014 Opal Award Honorees
The Boca Raton Rotary Club announced the honorees of the 16th Annual OPAL (Outstanding People and Leaders) Award for 2014 this evening at new Downtown Library.
- (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2014 - The OPAL (Outstanding People and Leaders) Award celebrates the accomplishments of five remarkable individuals in our community who have spent their life dedicated to making Boca Raton a unique place to live, workEliza and raise a family. The 2014 OPAL Awards Gala will be held on January 18, 2014 at the Boca Pointe Country Club.
This year's honorees are: Gary Peters, Philanthropic Leadership; Irving Gutin, Medicine and Healthcare; Howard and Karen Weiss, Community Service; Anthony Comparato, Vanguard Award for Business and Community Service; and Cecil Roseke, the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Lifetime Achievement Award.
