BMA Sponsors First Ever Face Off With Top Three Social Networks
Event to feature unique advantages of Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter for B2B marketers.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) February 13, 2013 - The young professionals' arm of the Business Marketing Association of New York, BMA:FWD (Forward), will make digital history on February 21st from 6:00 to 8:00PM with the first Face Off from the top three social networks: Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter.
The event at Google's NY headquarters (76 Ninth Avenue) will be moderated by Forrester's Nate Elliott, VP, Principal Analyst Servicing Interactive Marketing Professionals. A Q&A session with the audience will follow. Drinks and refreshments will be served.
In an environment where B2B marketers are always weighing which social network is right for their needs, the Digital Face Off will seek to delineate the unique strengths of each with presentations that highlight capabilities and services. as well as with a competition to address specific communications challenges presented by Benigno Gonzales, VP Marketing Communications for Verizon Empire Solutions.
Representing the "big three" social networks are: Dan Coughlin, Director, Eastern US Sales, Twitter; Lee Bienstock, Financial Services Advertising, Google+ and James Burnett, Head of Sales, Marketing Solutions Eastern Region, LinkedIn.

Admission at the door is $50 for Non-Members; $40 for BMA:NYC Members and $30 for BMA:FWD Members.
BMA:FWD is the young professionals arm of BMA-NYC, the leading association for business-to-business. It is comprised of forward-thinking individuals ranging from recent college graduates to those who have typically been in the marketing and advertising industry for less than ten years. The organization is led by a group of emerging marketers from such organizations as Google, Bloomberg, Crain's and The Wall Street Journal, as well as such NYC-based agencies as Doremus and Stein+Partners.
BMA:FWD focuses on issues that affect young marketers such as: moving up in the industry, knowing the right people, and preparing to take the reigns as leaders of the marketing and advertising industry in the near future.
