Bluewolf Recognized as Enterprise Game Changer in AlwaysOn's OnDemand 100 Awards
Agile Enterprise Consultant "Disrupts the Established Enterprise" through Social Collaboration.
- (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2012 - NEW YORK -Bluewolf (www.bluewolf.com), the global agile business consulting firm, today announced its inclusion in AlwaysOn's third annual "OnDemand 100," which identifies the top emerging Internet companies "disrupting the established enterprise, reinventing legacy data streams, and pioneering cloud computing and SaaS." This is Bluewolf's third appearance on the OnDemand 100 since first appearing in 2010.
The OnDemand 100 were selected by AlwaysOn's editorial team, partners at companies such as Hewlett-Packard and SAP, and an international cadre of experts in data management, customer relationships, and infrastructure. This year's selection, according to AlwaysOn's official press release, includes private on-demand and SaaS companies that are "creating a complex world of interconnected business intelligence, merging valuable legacy data and systems with new, vital streams of information." Final selections were based on: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz. Bluewolf sees its selection in this list as validation of its efforts to equip its clients with the people, processes, technologies and culture to maximize agility.
"Bluewolf believes the Agile Enterprise is more than a business concept -- it's a key to survival in the 21st century," said Corinne Sklar, VP of Marketing at Bluewolf. "The business cycle is moving faster and more erratically, and companies need to adapt quickly to the realities of the moment, or be left behind."
Much of the company's energy is now focused on helping enterprises gain more value out of their cloud computing investments, bringing the focus back to adoption, collaboration and executive visibility. Bluewolf's push for greater social collaboration in the enterprise is highlighted in its recently chronicled work with such companies as the Gates Corporation, as well as its just-announced #GoingSocial initiative.
"Every function of the enterprise is made more agile through social collaboration," continued Sklar. "As companies open the channels of communications, they mine the thought, intelligence and creativity of all their people to improve innovation, knowledge retention, sales, marketing, logistics, and every other factor contributing to overall success."
With #GoingSocial, Bluewolf has teamed with Bunchball to gamify social collaboration within its own organization. The company is segueing this into a customer offering that includes a blueprint assessment to gauge how social the employees are and identify obstacles to becoming social; complete analysis of the technology landscape and implementation of customized tools; and a change management/monitoring program to ensure full engagement.
In making this year's selection, AlwaysOn and its panel considered such factors as the explosion of digital information (otherwise known as "big data"), the introduction of legacy data systems into new environments, and the need for businesses to leverage this massive and growing data pool to make smart, informed decisions. Additionally, it examined companies effectively leveraging cloud computing and Saas to create a "complex world of interconnected business intelligence and ideas" at the macro level. According to AlwaysOn, "This year's OnDemand 100 companies are true leaders, developing game-changing approaches and technologies that are pushing outside the bounds of existing markets and away from entrenched institutions."
