Blue Coat Appoints Chris Moore as Head of Middle East Sales Team
New strategic appointment to fuel vendor's regional growth.
- (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2013 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Blue Coat Systems, Inc. a market and technology leader of Web security and WAN optimisation solutions, today announced the appointment of Chris Moore as the Regional Sales Director for its operations in the Middle East. The appointment comes at a time when Blue Coat is poised to expand its presence in the region.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of EMEA Sales, Stuart Henderson, Mr Moore's key objective is to grow Blue Coat's Security and WAN Optimisation business across the Middle East, building upon the company's recognized leadership in the Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and WAN Optimisation service offerings.

Chris Moore joins Blue Coat from Trend Micro where he was the Regional Director of Sales, Service and Marketing. He has more than 18 years of proven regional sales experience with multi-national companies such as Extreme Networks, Juniper Networks, Newbridge Networks/ Alcatel and Gandalf Digital Communications.
