Blue Coast Securities acquires 253 Multi-Family Units in Southern California. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) December 15, 2012 - Blue Coast Securities, Inc. acquires performing loans secured by 253 units in six multifamily properties located in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California. The notes were acquired all cash in less than one week from two investment banking groups in the region. Blue Coast Securities, Inc. continues its strategy to capitalize its "Blue Coast Securities Fixed Income Fund" with distressed and opportunistic multifamily investments in Southern California. The Company is also under agreement on the acquisition of a 126 unit senior living community in Los Angeles County and the construction of six Assisted Living and Senior Living Communities in Southeastern United States, each set to close between January and March of 2013.

According to the Company's press release, this transaction presented a unique opportunity to acquire a set of performing loans at a meaningful discount from a motivated investment group that needed the liquidity that sale of the notes brought. Given the low loan-to-value and current cash flow yield, this was an excellent risk adjusted return for our Fund and the Fund's Investors.

Other recent news from Blue Coast Securities included its agreement to purchase a seventeen state broker dealer and an equitable stake in an FDIC Chartered Bank, each scheduled to close in the Spring-Summer of 2013.
