Blue Chip Joins EMC Velocity2 Reseller Program
Blue Chip Achieves Double Accreditation from EMC.
- (1888PressRelease) October 07, 2010 - Blue Chip, the IT specialist, today announced it is one of just four companies in the UK to have achieved both Premier Solutions Provider (PSP) status and Consolidate (NAS) Specialty status under EMC's Velocity2 Partner Program, and the only one in the south of England to do so.
Blue Chip engineers underwent training and exams to qualify for PSP status. They were then required to achieve a combination of EMC Proven Professional Certification and Accreditation to further qualify Blue Chip as a Velocity˛ Consolidate Specialty Partner.
The latter means Blue Chip is certified to deliver storage area network (SAN) or network-attached storage (NAS) solutions to enable efficient power and storage utilisation that is dynamically configured and managed. Specialty Partners are able to recommend the correct EMC infrastructure for their customer's business challenges and implement an entire end-to-end EMC solution combining hardware, software and services skills.
