Blue Chip Delivers £0.5m IT Refresh for Sunseeker International
Blue Chip delivers technical assessment and core infrastructure refresh and Backup and DR solution for Sunseeker International in line with the motoryacht manufacturer's business growth strategy.
- (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2014 - IT specialist, Blue Chip has delivered a £0.5 million IT Infrastructure system refresh for Sunseeker International, manufacturers of the world's finest motoryachts.
Blue Chip implemented the £0.5 million enterprise solution, comprising technologies from VMware, Citrix EMC, and Veeam. As Sunseeker were already virtualised, the major IT refresh focused on replacing ageing core infrastructure with new enterprise technology that gave Sunseeker higher performance, additional functionality, enhanced resilience and room for future expansion in line with the company's growth strategy. In addition, Blue Chip provided Sunseeker's Disaster Recovery (DR) and a new Backup Solution via its datacentre facilities. Blue Chip will continue to provide full support and maintenance via its 24/7 Service Desk which is crucial for an international company operating in different time zones.
