Blood Served at the Dungeon for New Year's Day, Sunday January 1
Edinburgh's scariest attraction will offer the first 100 visitors a FREE Bloody Mary on New Year's Day.
- (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2011 - The Edinburgh Dungeon, which brings Scotland's most horrible history back to life, makes this bloody hangover-curing gesture to Edinburgh's over 18 party goers following Hogmanay celebrations.
Dungeon manager Johnny Campbell said, "The drink seems appropriate as we are known for our love of all things bloody and gory. Plus the Bloody Marys should benefit the sore heads that will no doubt be suffering come January 1. The vodka and the spiced tomato juice are considered a good hangover cure by many.
"We are looking forward to showing Edinburgh's over 18s some good honest Scottish hospitality inviting them to have their first drink in 2012 with us.
"Bloody Marys will be served at the end of the Dungeon tour - once we've got hearts pumping with scares and our thrilling rides we'll reward brave post-Hogmanay visitors with a free drink on us."
To take advantage of this offer over 18 visitors are asked to bring proof of age photo ID.
The special offer will be available to the first 100 over 18 visitors on 1st January. The Edinburgh Dungeon is open 11am to 4pm on January 1.
