Blackkkash and 5picture Films are Dodging Bullets as they Release a Book with its Own Music Soundtrack
Dodging Bullets is a new urban crime drama book set in New Orleans, and set to be released next month. Except, what makes this book so unique, is that it will actually have its very own original music soundtrack with singles available for download.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 29, 2020 - A soundtrack for a book may not be a new concept, but that is exactly what has been done with the collaboration of Blackkkash and 5Picture Films.
Music producer, Kentrell Myers, of Blackkkash, and screenwriter, Michael Gerald, of 5Picture Films, penned Dodging Bullets. The book is based on the inner workings of the New Orleans illicit drug game, and inspired by actual events.
"I had never heard of a book with its own soundtrack, so we thought it would be unique," Myers says. This isn't Gerald's first book, although he is known as a screenwriter and filmmaker. Gerald is currently writing the Dodging Bullets movie screenplay.
One of the songs on the soundtrack and theme for the book is "Bridging The Gap" by Bizzystackss featuring New Orleans Jazz Trumpeter Kid Merv, and is already available via Amazon Music.
The Dodging Bullets book release date is August 10, 2020, with the audio book release shortly thereafter.
