As part of the growing Dispelair branded product range, the company has added both siloxane-free grades and 3D Siloxane technology in line with customer demands.

Blackburn Chemicals Ltd. has used their extensive antifoam experience in food, coatings and paper related applications and translated that to the lubricants sector via a technical collaboration with the specialty chemical distributor, Sea-Land Chemical Europe Ltd. A twelve month program of development and evaluation using real-world metalworking formulations across a range of chemistries and condition testing has resulted in the creation of four new products from the technical development and support teams headed by Iain Stirling and Dave Kenny. The development activity has centered not just upon antifoam efficiency and maintenance of foam control, but also on other key criteria in this sector such as hard water emulsion stability, filterability and concentrate stability.

The new products include Dispelair CF 750 (3D Siloxane based), Dispelair CF 236 (Organo-modified siloxane based), Dispelair CF 879 (Si-free antifoam) and Dispelair CF 937 (Si-free antifoam).
