  • Cambridge-Newton-Framingham, MA (1888PressRelease) June 10, 2017 - On Thursday, June 15th, 2017, Cambridge’s own Beat Brasserie, recently named one of the top “100 Hottest Restaurants in America” by OpenTable.com, dedicates another night of jazz to the legendary Miles Davis’ revolutionary album, Bitches Brew. From 7:30PM to 11:30PM, Boston’s well-accomplished horn players, Phil Grenadier and George Garzone, return to the stage to perform a modern, electric and funk-influenced rendition of Davis’ most notable record. All evening long Beat will serve hand-crafted dishes and libations.

Executive Chef James Lyons will be preparing his seasonally-inspired signature dishes that include small plate options such as Charred Octopus with bacon, saffron, Romano beans, grilled spring onions and black garlic aioli ($18) and Roasted Asparagus with burrata cheese, orange, sunflower seeds, aillade and Aleppo pepper ($13.5). Entrée selections include Spring Pasta Crabonara with English peas, pancetta and pistachio mint pesto ($21), Flat Iron Steak with asparagus, green garlic, strawberries and Urfa vinaigrette ($27) or the Albacore Tuna with fava bean mash, broccolini, preserved lemon, pistachio pesto and mint ($26). Compliment the meal with one of Beat’s 36 American wines from its state-of-the-art tap system, or opt for one of the hand-crafted cocktails like Lion’s Roar with tequila reposado, Benedictine, Orgeat and angostura lime ($14) or the Devil’s Garden with Amber rum, szechaun peppercorn-infused vermouth, lemon and ginger ($13).
