San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) January 24, 2020 - BioSoft Integrators, Inc., a global leader of informatic solutions for life science research and clinical diagnostic laboratories, announced today the appointment of Debbie Bowers as President and Chief Commercial Officer, effective February 1, 2020. Ms. Bowers will be responsible for providing global strategy and commercial direction for the company’s products and professional services.

“Finding a professional with deep knowledge of automation, and software and a proven track record with life science customers was a huge windfall for BioSoft,” said CEO and Co-Founder, Henry Marentes. “We founded BioSoft in 2012 with a somewhat narrow customer focus. When Debbie joined our organization, she directed our operations to look more broadly at opportunities across a larger spectrum. Ms. Bowers joined BioSoft as the Vice President of Commercial Operations in November 2017. Prior to joining BioSoft, she was the Vice President of Robotic Operations at Hamilton Robotics directing sales, marketing, service, and applications for the regions covered from its headquarters in Reno, NV. Before Hamilton, she was a Vice President of Business Development at Invetech, a then Danaher Company that provides development and contract manufacturing services to global research, clinical and consumer companies. Preceding Invetech, she spent nearly 12 years at Tecan as the Sales Director of Americas responsible for the Liquid Handling, Detection and Storage products that were introduced during her tenure there.

Ms. Bowers holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
