BioMedix Vascular Solutions, Inc. today announced expanded testing capabilities for its award-winning vascular diagnostic system with the release of PADnet+ Segmental Pressures to measure blood pressure at additional levels on the legs.

The PADnet+ Segmental Pressures testing component measures blood pressure at additional levels on the legs.
Non-invasive PADnet+ Segmental Pressure testing is similar to PADnet+ ABI testing, with the addition of pressures taken at thigh and calf levels to more effectively diagnose vascular disease in the Cardiovascular and Vascular Specialist office. The improved accuracy provided by Segmental Pressures aids in confirming arterial insufficiency and can help to identify inflow disease, localizing the results to specific vascular segments. PADnet+ with Segmental Pressures gives insight into the locations of possible arterial blockages in the legs, improves diagnosis and helps guide an effective P.A.D. treatment plan.
