Binary Spectrum's EMR shortly to be ONC-ARRA certified
Binary Spectrum is shortly to achieve the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification for its Ambulatory EMR.
- (1888PressRelease) December 10, 2010 - The application is capable of enabling providers to meet the requirements of Stage 1 and qualify for funding under American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
According to the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009, healthcare professionals can qualify for Medicaid and Medicare incentive payments on adoption of certified electronic health record. For obtaining bonus payments they are required to meet the objectives of "meaningful use". This regulation was issued by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and states for ten years about $27 billion would be provided in incentive payments.
"We get to finally see healthcare industry make technology advances. Certifications like ARRA would help benefit the patients immensely over the years and providers would deliver better and effective care", says Mr. Ashok Kumar, CEO, Binary Spectrum.
By accomplishing the ARRA Certification measures, Binary Spectrum symbolizes its solution to be in compliance with clinical quality measures that are specified in the guidelines and also improve lives by being able to deliver care in time.
