    Mr. Dotson was first appointed in 2009 by Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio and was reappointed to a second term in 2011.

    Mr. Dotson represents clients in securing federal and local government procurement contracts and obtaining land use and zoning permits for large-scale real estate developments. As legal counsel in key public-private partnerships in South Florida, he represents South Beach ACE in its $1 billion bid to redevelop the Miami Beach Convention Center and previously secured a $300 million contract for Italian transportation company AnsaldoBreda to supply a new fleet of Metrorail cars to Miami-Dade Transit.
