Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2014 - Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP is pleased to announce that Real Estate Attorney, Karyl Argamasilla, and Environmental Attorney Cristina Arana Lumpkin, were inducted as members of the 2014 CREW-Miami (Commercial Real Estate Women) Board of Directors. Argamasilla will serve as President and Lumpkin will serve as Network Liaison Director.

Argamasilla has been actively involved with the CREW-Miami Board since 2010, where she served as legal counsel in 2010 and 2011, Director of Community Affairs in 2012 and President Elect in 2013. She also chairs the E-Mentoring program, which partners seasoned CREW-Miami members with young mentees starting their careers in commercial real estate, participates in CREW Careers, a mentoring program that familiarizes high school girls with the commercial real estate industry and UCREW, a mentorship program for college and graduate students.

Argamasilla has extensive experience structuring and executing large commercial real estate transactions and represents national and local developers, landlords, tenants, sellers, purchasers and lenders. Argamasilla has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers each year since 2009.

As a member of CREW-Miami, Lumpkin served as Co-Chair of the Hospitality Committee in 2013. In her role as Network-Liaison for CREW-Miami, she will represent the Miami Chapter while working with delegates from other CREW chapters. Her representation is particularly important this upcoming year since CREW-Miami will be hosting CREW Network's annual Convention at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel from September 30 - October 3, 2014. The convention is expected to attract over 1,000 senior-level men and women representing all disciplines within the commercial real estate industry.

Lumpkin focuses her practice on all aspects of environmental and land use law, including pre-acquisition environmental due diligence, permitting, and site assessment and remediation. She represents clients in various industries, including commercial and residential development, materials recycling, and non-profits. In 2012 and 2013, she was recognized by Chambers USA as an Associate to Watch in Florida for the Environmental category and as a Florida Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers in 2013.
