Bilzin Sumberg Attorneys Brighten Up Norwood Elementary School
100+ Bilzin Sumberg attorneys and their families beautify Norwood Elementary School.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) January 26, 2013 - As part of the Bilzin Sumberg Cares community involvement initiative, members of the law firm Bilzin Sumberg spent the day helping to make Norwood Elementary school a brighter place for its students to learn and grow. More than 100 Bilzin Sumberg volunteers, comprised of attorneys, staff, and their families, painted murals, planted a butterfly garden and enhanced the landscape of the school grounds in Miami Gardens.
Bilzin Sumberg Cares, the firm's community involvement program, provides the Bilzin Sumberg community with volunteer opportunities to work together to benefit charitable organizations in the South Florida community. Now in its 5th year, Bilzin Sumberg Cares has partnered with organizations including Voices for Children, Habitat for Humanity, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, United-Way of Miami-Dade County, the Miami-Dade Special Olympics, and numerous other non-profit organizations.

Bilzin Sumberg also presented Norwood Elementary school principal Kevin N. Williams with a donation to purchase new smart boards for the school.
