The selection recognizes William Comer's commitment to excellence in Law.
- Saginaw-Saginaw Township North, MI (1888PressRelease) January 20, 2012 - William Comer, Paralegal Associate for Casper P. Connolly and Associates, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes William Comer's commitment to excellence in Law.
Comer, a licensed paralegal through Southern Career Institute, began working in his field in the late 1970s after spending eighteen years in engineering. As a result of a very tiring estate settlement for his deceased father that took eleven years to settle, he wanted to pursue different professional goals. Initially, Comer concentrated exclusively on estate planning, but eventually expanded his expertise to asset protection planning in the early 1990s.
Having spent thirty-five years reading and researching issues that have resulted in costly problems and extensive delays in settling estates of decedents, Comer has drafted numerous preliminary protective provisions that have been fine-tuned by his organization's lead counsel and incorporated into their respective highly comprehensive estate preservation and asset protection documents.
Comer, as a paralegal, has worked very closely with advisory CPA, tax and asset protection attorney Mark Merric, and asset protection attorney John E. Sullivan III, during the past eighteen years as a paralegal. He has and continues to attend the majority of the continuing education Annual Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institutes in South Bend, Indiana as well to stay abreast in his field.
"I have reviewed over one thousand estate plans and have determined that less than five percent have actually provided comprehensive long-term estate preservation and asset protection for the decedent and his or her heirs," Comer explained about his research.
Hoping to continue increasing his expertise in the field, especially in estate preservation and domestic and offshore asset protection services, and to assist in the expansion of the estate and asset protection planning practice for the Casper P. Connolly law firm, Comer said that the majority of their business comes from referrals of highly satisfied clients.
Comer is an active member of the Offshore Institute and his local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has also co-authored numerous articles in his field and has been a featured speaker in these fields at conferences throughout the United States, as well as in Costa Rica and the Bahamas. When William isn't busy working, he enjoys trout fishing and genealogy.
