Biltmore Who's Who Selects Theresa C. Cooper as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Cooper, Bookkeeper for Food Bank of Northern Indiana, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Theresa C. Cooper's commitment to excellence in Non-Profit Accounting.
Cooper, who has over twenty-eight years experience in finance, began working in an office at the age of seventeen for a high school cooperative office education program. She worked for the company through her senior year and was then hired full-time, and then spent another twelve years with them.
In 2010, Cooper was given the the opportunity to use her skills at the Food Bank and is currently the account manager and accomplished grant writer. She handles the books and writes grants for the funding of their programs and agencies, which is funded through grants, donations and federal funding.
"During my career I got as much continuing education as possible in the field of personnel and payroll," Cooper said. "Most of my learning was done in the school of hard knocks though. I am self-taught in all of my areas of expertise."
Believing in hard work and dedication, as well as learning all aspects of the job and the non-profit that she works for, Cooper sees her organization as her second home where she has the ability to express her talents. She also
believes in not only knowing her job to the best of her ability, but to also understand all the aspects of her associates duties as well. Her plan, she said, is to continue doing what she's doing, and to do it well.
Cooper is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Secret Sister Society and American Bikers Aimed Toward Education, and is a life member of Handyman Club of America and her local Cooking Club. In her free time, Theresa enjoys reading, watching movies and cooking.
