Meyer, who decided to make a major career change, began practicing the art of photography in 1980 to include commercial and sports photography, after spending twelve years working in a factory.
As owner and photographer, Meyer sets up all of his own appointments and talks directly to all of his clients and prospective clients. Specializing strictly in weddings, he shoots the entire event, from in the bridal dressing, the church/ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He edits all of his own images and handles all ordering for his clients. "I have had a camera in hand since I was about ten years old," Meyer said. "I have always loved the excitement on people's faces when they see the end result."
In Meyer's free time, he enjoys taking rides on his motorcycle and partaking in recreational activities like watching and playing basketball and billiards.
