- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2011 - Tammy M. Krzysik, Administrative Assistant for Columbia College, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Tammy M. Krzysik's commitment to excellence in the field of Education.
Krzysik, who is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Columbia College, began working for the college's assistant director and director of the Fort Leonard Wood Campus, after starting out as a financial aid work study in the fall of 2007, in an effort of obtaining her degree and certificate to teach.
In addition to her assigned responsibilities as an assistant, like filing, faxing, copying, doing mail distribution, data entry, transcribing documents and so on, Krzysik also ensures that the staff payroll is processed and submitted bi-weekly, ensures that faculty are equipped for each session, and also makes sure that faculty meetings and student organization meetings and activities are organized and set to run smoothly. "I have worked in many different genres, she said. However, I have learned that customer service and satisfaction is the key regardless of the job you hold. These skills will be beneficial in the teaching field after I complete my schooling."
Planning to graduate in the fall of this year, Krzysik plans to teach elementary school-aged children sometime in 2012. She also aspires to pursue her master's degree in special education and make a real difference in the lives of the students she teaches.

She was also named Outstanding Psychology Student in 2010 by Columbia College and received a Certificate of Appreciation from NATO for nine months of civilian service in Bosnia, Croatia and Hungary with the Army Force Exchange Services. She's an active member of the Columbia College Alumni Association. In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family.
