Biltmore Who's Who Selects Steven M. Hoskins as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Hoskins, Vice-President of Life and Agency Operations at Pharmacists Mutual Companies, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Steven M. Hoskin's commitment to excellence in the field of Insurance.
Hoskins, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Simpson College and holds a Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American college, began working in insurance in 1979 as an office manager for Connecticut Mutual.
Having also worked as a competition manager, sales support manager, director of sales support, product development manager, recruiter, trainer, and having also done advanced sales support, Hoskins now serves as his company's vice-president of Life and Agency Operations since 2003. In this roll he provides leadership to the organizations subsidiaries, The Pharmacists Life, a life and annuity company, and Pro Advantage Services, Inc., a full line independent agency.
"I have had great training at the beginning and have benefited from many wonderful mentors throughout my career," Hoskins said. "I have not been afraid to try new ideas and move forward in spite of obstacles. This organization has allowed me to build successful businesses that help clients and also provide great careers to many employees."
Hoping to continue building his two organizations and make them household names in North Central Iowa and beyond, Hoskins sees great potential in both of them.
Currently, Hoskins is a member of the Society for Financial Services Professionals and his local Rotary Club. He serves as a board member for Kossuth County Economic Development, is vice- president of Kossuth Shriners Club, is on the Human Resource Committee for Algona United Methodist Church and is a current board member and former president of Algona Country Club. In his free time, Steven enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
