Biltmore Who's Who Selects Shaun Hill as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Shaun Hill's commitment to excellence in Landscape Design.
Hill, who earned his diploma in 1996, is certified in electronics and communications through the US Navy, where he served for two years beginning in 1998. He also received certification for biosafety training in 2001. He's been working in the landscaping industry his entire career, and in 2008 he founded his own business.
As owner, Hill handles hiring and firing of employees, training, payroll, taxes, insurance, ordering inventory, equipment maintenance, advertising, employee schedules, providing estimates and quotes for clients, and ensuring quality work.
"The one key aspect to my company's success is the fact that I am doing what I love to do," Hill explained. "Each job is unique, and some of them come with their own distinct obstacles, but I love a challenge. I believe in taking pride in my work and doing things right the first time."
Hill noted that the majority of his jobs are based on referrals and word of mouth, so it is extremely important that he and his employees make sure that his clients are completely satisfied.
Having a real passion for what he does, Hill loves working outside, working with his hands, and earning a sense of pride that comes with each new job well done and each customer's satisfaction. In the future, he hopes to expand his company while maintaining the same quality of work. He also would like to incorporate renewable energy into communities in simple, affordable ways, as well as be able to offer job skills training to those who are interested in learning about the field.
Hill was acknowledged in the Nation Journal of Virology in May of 2002. He has volunteered in numerous capacities, including helping to restore the JFK memorial at Monument Park in Canton, Ohio. He has also adopted a local, ten city block area in his community. He is landscaping the area, which was nothing more than grass, weeds and dirt collecting trash. He hopes to have the entire area finished by the end of the 2012 summer. Hill has also voluntarily installed and completed a memorial brick walkway and landscaping for the Canton Preservation Society.
