Biltmore Who's Who Selects Rebecca Ann Barnett as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Rebecca Ann Barnett's commitment to excellence in Pharmaceuticals.
Barnett, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Western International University, began in her career field after taking her first position with Walgreens in 1992. She later moved on to work in the PBM and major medical industry and later returned to Walgreens in 2001.
Currently, as territory manager, Barnett speaks with physicians regarding the capabilities of their specialty services and how her company can help patients achieve optimal therapy outcomes. She actively engages with her community store operations team to identify opportunities to improve their services in their retail locations and works with local management teams and pharmacists as well. In addition, she identifies market opportunities and explicit needs of their healthcare providers and patients.
"As a team," Barnett said, "we identify and address the changing needs of our customers who are managing chronic diseases. We are committed to developing services as a healthcare provider that will make managing these conditions easier for them."
Barnett also works with local operations management to coordinate community teams in which to participate in local fundraising events and walks to support organizations that offer assistance to those managing chronic health conditions.
Having a career that enables Barnett to make a positive impact on lives is what motivates her the most. Her position, she said, allows her to apply her business skills in ways that help her community and people lead quality lives.
Hoping to get into higher management in the future, Barnett aspires to attain a position where she can continue utilizing and building on current business experience to develop new products and services.
Barnett is currently an adjunct faculty member for the University of Wyoming and mentors pharmacy students studying business and the specialty pharmacy industry. She is a Ryan White Planning Council Member, courtesy of the Maricopa Board of Supervisors, serving for the next three years. In her free time, she volunteers her time with a local disaster rescue organization and has worked the Hurricane Katrina disaster and the fire disasters in California. When she's not volunteering, Rebecca enjoys interior decorating, cooking and photography.
