Biltmore Who's Who Selects Rachele Holden as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
The selection recognizes Rachele Holden's commitment to excellence in the Insurance industry.
- Jacksonville, FL (1888PressRelease) December 02, 2010 - Rachele Holden, Assistant Vice-President of Builders Risk Underwriting for Zurich Insurance Services, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
After taking vocational classes in high school and landing her first job in insurance at the age of fifteen for State Farm, Holden learned the ins and outs of personal and commercial lines insurance by reading manuals and guidelines, and becoming self-taught in the field.
Now the assistant vice-president of builders risk underwriting, Holden presently oversees a program that involves many areas, including training, product development, underwriting guidelines, sales development, website underwriting design, claims training, depositions and trials.
Thanks to the mentorship of her branch manager many years ago, Holden is grateful for all the knowledge she's acquired. "I have made it a point to train my staff and managers everything I know to allow them to gain my experience and move up in the insurance world," she explained. "I am a big supporter of people taking control of their own destiny with a little help from me."
Planning to continue training and developing quality staff, Holden aspires to explore the product development and design path in the future. "I love the challenge that this process brings. To watch a product grow from nothing to something big is a huge accomplishment," she said.
Holden became a certified insurance counselor through CIC in 2000 and is a certified P&C licensed agent through Zurich North America. She is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida and Toastmasters. She's won numerous awards in her field, including being named Coach of the Year at her company. Her department also won the Team of the Year Award for four straight years. In her spare time, Rachele volunteers and donates to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, United Way and St. Jude Children's Hospital, and she also enjoys going fishing, camping and doing crafts.
