Biltmore Who's Who Selects Myra R. Edwards as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Edwards, Management Information Specialist, for US Department of Housing and Development (HUD), has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Myra R. Edwards's commitment to excellence in Government.
Edwards, who holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Price George's Community College, began working in 1967 after graduating from high school in Dayton, Ohio. She has worked for the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the US Department of the Air Force, and US Department of the Army.
Now employed with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) since July of this year, Edwards performs hands-on execution of acquisition reporting data for management and CPARS agency official's via weekly reports with matrix reporting. She prepares memorandums in accordance with HUD Acquisition Regulation and Federal Acquisition Regulations for business sector non-systems, does research on acquisition procurement information for task orders, contracts and MODs through GSA's Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation FPDS-NG, drafts and prepares oversight guidance directives and ensures evaluations are prepared in compliance with Past Performance Source Selection evaluation thresholds. She also serves as HUD's administrator for FedBizOps and reports meeting agendas to management and other staff members.
Edwards has taken numerous government training courses throughout her career, and attributes her experience as a computer specialist for the Department of the Army to her extensive knowledge.
"My inspiration and work ethic come from my religious background, belief in Jesus Christ and the exceptional training I received," Edwards explained.
With plans of continuing in her field, Edwards hopes to do more charity work with several organizations within her community. She is a recipient of a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for work and service to the US Armed Forces. Myra is a member of Little David Baptist Church, volunteers with her local food bank and Snack Shack and enjoys bowling, going to the movies and the theater when she isn't busy.
