Raskind, who received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Dayton and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, began working in his field in 1983. Now the owner of his own private practice in psychotherapy, he counsels mental health patients and those with chemical dependency issues.
Just this year, Raskind founded a father-son business, Farepricer.com, a high speed, accurate and comprehensive worldwide travel search engine that utilizes multimedia devices and social media to improve the way people seek and discover travel information. Originally from Rochester, New York, he has worked in numerous fields over the years, including social work, insurance, and is the past owner of a delivery business. During his time in insurance, he received a Grand Diamond Award. When Michael isn't busy working, he enjoys watching football, camping and hiking.
