Clark, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, is a licensed realtor in the state of Arizona, and has been practicing real estate for the past two years.
After working as a defense contractor in the mid 1970s and spending the next thirty-five years developing her career, which included negotiating millions of dollars, managing buyers and the material for several defense programs, Clark decided to retire from the industry and take on new challenges.
With longevity and a love for the Tucson area, Clark knew that real estate would be a perfect fit. As an independent REALTORŪ, it was important that Clark take on a role that would give her the entrepreneurship feel and the leeway to work on her own with no direct supervision.
In her current role, Clark researches active properties for prospective buyers, shows properties and does research on various aspects of her properties location, writes up offers and negotiates with sellers. She also schedules home inspections once contracts are drawn up, helps clients secure loans, and does numerous other tasks throughout her day, including paperwork.
"I have thirty-five years in the management of people and projects that have developed my strengths in commitment, professionalism, coordination and developing and maintaining good working relationships," Clark explained. "I love details and follow through. And I love helping people find their perfect home."
With a desire to work with out-of-town clients and those that currently live outside the US find their dream home or second home, Clark really enjoys showing the various areas within the greater Tucson area. The Tucson area, she said, boasts homes with significant property surrounding some of the homes, homes that are in close-knit neighborhoods, homes close to some of the best hiking around, homes with breathtaking views, and also offers desirable retirement locations as well.
Clark is a member of Tucson Association of REALTORSŪ and is the president of her Local Homeowners Association. In her free time, Melanie enjoys exercising, hiking, doing volunteer mediation/ombudsman activities and wine tastings.
