Biltmore Who's Who Selects M. J. Kimo Keawe as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Kimo Keawe, Executive Director for Hawaii Centers for Independent Living, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes M. J. Kimo Keawe's commitment to excellence in Non-Profit.
Keawe, who holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Theology Canterbury University, and a second Master's Degree in Academic Discipline of Theology, began working as an independent business man in 1995 with an area of expertise in radio and television. Over the last seventeen years, he has been involved in several non-profit organizations as president, from advocating for prevention against child abuse, to cultural preservation and the disabled and independent living community.
Currently, Keawe oversees the day to day operations of seven offices and a staff of thirty-eight. He also supervises financials, grants, advocacy and strategic planning.
"This is not a one person show," Keawe explained, "but a culmination of positive, productive and team attitudes in the company."
Hoping to make a difference in all the lives that he comes into contact with by helping them become independent and successful, Keawe credits his faith and his family to his achievements in his line of work.
Keawe has received a Medal of Saint Luke the Physician from Epsilon Kappa Lambda. In his free time, M. J. Kimo enjoys traveling, camping and spending quality time with his family.
