Biltmore Who's Who Selects Lyle W. Thornton as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Thornton, RF Communications Technician for DCP Midstream, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Lyle W. Thornton's commitment to excellence in Telecommunications.
Thornton, a certified master technician through the National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers, began working in his field for a contracting company to the US Army Research and Development Command prior to graduating from technical school in Omaha, Nebraska.
Starting out as an electronics technician responsible for assisting in the maintenance of many types of film reading equipment, including mechanical, electrical and electronic aptitudes, as well as customer relations, Thornton has had the opportunity to install and maintain various types and configurations of telecommunications. Some of these include equipment from analog and digital microwaves, wireless voice systems, telephone systems, LAN, WAN, SCADA, EFM and wireless IP networking. In addition to the technical hardware, he also acquired skills in project management, engineering, business planning and personal relations over the years.
Hoping to work his way into a project management, supervisory or even an engineering staff member position with the ability to use his expertise in the field, Thornton continues to work hard and prove himself.
"I have always had the ability to work alongside people of many different personalities and skill levels to accomplish tasks at hand," Thornton said about working as a team.
Thornton is a member of the National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers. When he isn't busy working, you can find Lyle hunting, fishing and practicing his photography.
