Biltmore Who's Who Selects Kirby Daras as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) May 26, 2011 - Kirby Daras, Joint Planner for Capstone Corp., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Kirby Daras's commitment to excellence in Defense Contracting.
Daras, who holds a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware and an MA in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, spent twenty-one years in the US Army before being recruited into what was, at that time, a new created position.
The position, which would fill a critical need to establish a program that would identify shortfalls in manning, equipping, and training US Army Reserve and US Army National Guard military intelligence soldiers. Over the course of the first year in position, Daras served as program manager, then as strategic planner for headquarters.
Currently, Daras is the lead action officer for the Mobilization Synchronization Board, a collaborative planning event that synchronizes all post-mobilization plans with the First Army Staff, it subordinates, US Army National Guard, US Army Reserve, US Army Installation Management Command and US Army Forces Command.
Boasting over twenty-eight years experience in the field and numerous military awards, Daras attributes strategic planning and analysis, management skills and solid training and team building skills to his successes.
"Serving others has been and continues to be what inspires and motivates me," Daras said. "I've never been in it for the money or any glory. It's always been about doing the hard things in the right way to accomplish the mission and help people here and around the world."
Currently pursuing his PhD from Argosy University in organizational leadership, and having aspirations of getting into an organization that will allow him to continue serving others, Daras is confident in his future endeavors. During his down time, Kirby is a soccer referee, and enjoys playing baseball, football and soccer.
