Biltmore Who's Who Selects Kim Warnick as a Top Ten Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Dayton-Springfield, OH (1888PressRelease) August 23, 2011 - Kim Warnick, Intervention Specialist for Greenon Local Schools, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Kim Warnick's commitment to excellence in Education.
Warnick, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wittenberg University, and a Master's Degree in Education from Wright State University, began teaching during the 1982-83 school year as a special education teacher, instructing fifth through eighth grade students in a resource room setting.
Currently an intervention specialist to fifth graders, Warnick provides academic support for identified students, as well as those students that need one-on-one assistance. She provides direct instruction for skills in the regular classroom and also pulls out students in the resource room for individual and small group instruction.
Having noted the importance of attending workshops and continued education in order to provide the best education possible for her students, Warnick also believes that teachers must act as role models and really care about their kids in order to better both their education and their overall roles as they grow into adulthood.
"I think I've always wanted to be a teacher from the time I was in elementary school," Warnick said about her career. "As I look back at teachers I've had, the ones I remember the most are the ones who really cared about me and went the extra mile."
Now in her thirtieth year of teaching, Warnick plans to tutor students in some fashion after retirement. For now, she will continue to do the best she can to improve the lives of our future generation. When Kim isn't busy working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and reading.
