Biltmore Who's Who Selects Keith Jamal Robinson as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) September 24, 2010 - Keith Jamal Robinson, Physician at South Florida Pneumologists and Associates, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Dr. Robinson, who completed his pulmonary/critical care training from the University of California-San Diego in 2006, began practicing in South Florida just under four years ago. He joined the Broward Multispecialty Group as a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician in October of 2009, just after going into a solo practice in February that same year.
On a typical work morning, Dr. Robinson sees hospital patients within the North Broward Hospital District and migrates to his office for outpatient evaluations in the afternoons. He also conducts cardio-pulmonary exercise testing and bronchoscopy. "My inspiration in medicine stems from my desire to communicate and inform my patients about their medical illness as if they were members of my family," Dr. Robinson noted. "Patients deserve the respect of open, direct, and insightful communication with their physicians, and I strive to share my experience in life with my patients."
Hoping to work on continued development of novel approaches to treatment and diagnosis of chronic pulmonary conditions, Dr. Robinson's efforts will hopefully minimize the potential for chronic illness to take away patients' quality of life.
Dr. Robinson holds a BS in Exercise Science from Ithaca College of New York, followed by an MS in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University, and an MD from Indiana University. He is an American College of Chest Physicians Fellow, and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Thoracic Society. He is also a physician for the Riptides Major League Lacrosse Team in Los Angeles. He is a two-time recipient of the Patient Choice Award, sponsored by Healthgrades in 2008 and 2009. He is also a strong supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In his free time, Keith enjoys men's lacrosse and spending time with his family.
