The selection recognizes Kathryn A. Wright's commitment to excellence in Retail. Wright, the sole owner of her retail web store, has been in business since 2003.
Now in full swing since this year, Wright serves as owner and operator, handling everything from processing orders to creating and implementing all advertising campaigns. Having designed the website herself with intentions of maintaining a high standard of customer service, Wright's company focuses on quality care customer service.
Having always worked amongst entrepreneurs within her own family, Wright has gained firsthand knowledge of how businesses generally work or fail. She has worked in every department, having experience in sales, database management, accounts receivable and payable, human resources, and so forth, and has proven that a well-rounded hands-on approach is far more valuable as an owner in the business.
"Although I am currently back in school to complete my business degree, I honestly feel that the hands-on training and real world experience is the best training environment," Wright said about her career thus far.
With intentions of adding more products to her website, Wright currently offers approximately 2,000 different products to customers. Most recently, she acquired the permission to sell Avon products on her site as well. She also hopes to take over her uncle's company in the future, which does direct mail advertising, monthly and quarterly statements for credit unions, political mailings, amongst a host of other things, and take it to a national customer base. In the meantime, she plans on building her company year over year. Wright noted that she also has experience paralegal, spanning over ten years, and also has much familiarity in research investments, which she's actively pursuing in her spare time.
Wright served three years with the US Army as an E-2. She has been serving as a congresswoman for the Galactic Government since 2010, an appointment that will remain until 2022. She is currently pursuing a degree in business and linguistics and hopes to complete it by 2015. She has received numerous awards over the years, including several accommodation awards through the US Army for her volunteer work and while stationed in South Korea. She was also named to Who's Who Among High School Students during her junior and senior years at a performing arts school. When Kathryn isn't busy working, she enjoys hockey, football and music.
