Sullivan, who has been working in her field since graduating high school over thirty years ago, began by working evenings doing medical records filing. Her long career has lead her to work her way up in the health information management department, pursuing her certification in medical records.
As manager of operational consultants, Sullivan oversees other consultants that are in charge of training customers on the software they've purchased, assisting them with the design and build of the systems, as well as customizing the software to meet their individual needs. "Working in healthcare information technology for twenty-two years gave me the solid background that led me to the position that I am in today," Sullivan explained. "Starting at the bottom and working my way up in the department, holding all types of positions, gave me the knowledge that I needed to be successful at what I am doing today."
Always having an interest in the medical field, beginning with her mom's profession of being a physician's assistant and working with her during her high school years, Sullivan has never looked back. She aspires to continue working hard to take the company even further in the healthcare environment. She also plans to become certified in professional electronic health records in the near future, and perhaps attain a leading role as an executive director.
