Biltmore Who's Who Selects Joseph M. Moore as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Scranton--Wilkes-Barre-Hazleton, PA (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2010 - Joseph M. Moore, Certified Surgical Technician for Mt. Sinai Medical Center, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Moore, who became a certified surgical technologist during his time served in the US Air Force, has spent over three decades practicing in his field, beginning during the Vietnam era.
Trained as a medic and surgical technologist, the Air Force offered Moore many professional opportunities. "My training in the military opened many doors in the civilian job market for me to enter," he explained. "All my life I wanted to serve, therefore, when I saw the opportunity to join the medical community, I realized it was my calling." Working directly under the supervision of the attending surgeon in the operating room, his main responsibility is to assist the surgeon in any way possible within the scope of his expertise. He noted that knowledge, a good amount of training, and discipline are all key components in being successful in his field.
Moore is currently working on his second book. His first book, Stories From The Back of the Bus, was published through Published America, which tells the story about growing up in segregated New Orleans and how a group of "colored kids" attempted to change the system. He retired from the US Air Force as an E-7 in 1986. He is a strong supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In his free time, Joseph enjoys writing.
