Lemmex, Chief Financial Officer of Bayer Material Science, LLC, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes John A. Lemmex's commitment to excellence in Manufacturing.
Lemmex, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from McMaster University and an MBA from Syracuse University, is a certified public accountant with over twenty five years experience at his current organization.
Currently responsible for all finance and controlling activities in the NAFTA region, Lemmex also serves as a member of Bayer's North American Leadership Team. Prior to his current position as CFO, he began working in a business analyst capacity for the organization. He also spent numerous years at Bayer headquarters in Leverkusen, Germany, where he led the restructuring of the Bayer Polymers and Material Science controlling functions. More recently, he served as vice-president and controller.
Having a solid background in chemistry and finance helped Lemmex blend his financial management skills into the chemistry industry, saying, "I developed a passion for the industry and my vocation. Blending the two and having the desire to see a company create value and be successful has kept me inspired."
With hopes of continuing to provide value and watch the company's potential unfold, Lemmex looks forward to the years ahead. He currently serves as board of directors for the Variety Club and Blind Vision and Rehabilitation Services. He also serves as vice-president for NAFTA.
