Biltmore Who's Who Selects Joel Jaffe as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Jaffe, who began playing professionally at the ripe age of fifteen, has been producing and engineering music for over thirty years now.
Beginning in 1983, Jaffe leased and co-designed a state of the art live recording studio with a group of industry leaders in Sausalito. As chief engineer, he produces multiple styles of music and posts production audios for music television, film and advertising projects. He is directly in charge of overseeing the maintenance of the facility, booking clientele, dealing with the corporate business and interfacing with his assistant engineers and clients on a daily basis.
"Studio D is a small world class facility," Jaffe said. "I like to maintain a personal relationship with our clientele and local community in the music world."
Having a solid music and technical background has enabled Jaffe to see his roles in an insightful way. His musical upbringing (his mother was a piano teacher and his uncles played in a big band with Dean Martin) and love for music have both helped him in developing his talents at a very young age.
Jaffe has worked on numerous award winning albums and multiple Grammy projects at his studio. He and his team have received several recognition awards in the industry and has been acknowledged for tech surround awards and broadcast awards for the sound design audio parts of video presentations. Jaffe has also had the privilege of meeting and working with many admiring peers and artists in the field and continues to maintain friendships with industry leaders. When Joel isn't busy working, he enjoys staying active by jogging, going hiking and playing golf.
