Biltmore Who's Who Selects Jerry Gaither as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2011 - Jerry Gaither, Instructor for North Forest High School, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Jerry Gaither's commitment to excellence in the field of Education.
Gaither, who holds a BS degree in Biology from Morris College, followed by an MS degree Science Education and a Doctorate in Education Administration from Texas Southern University, began his teaching career in 1975 for the Houston Independent School District after a two year stint as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa.
Former high school principal Gaither currently serves as a teacher/facilitator for high school science. His thirty-five years experience has proven to be successful in leading young men and women down the right path. "Young people today need guidance to helping them to seek out the kind of career path they would like to follow in the future," he explained. "At this point of my career, I just want to continue helping as many young students as I can."
A member of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, Texas Teachers Association, Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, National Education Association and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Gaither keeps busy when he is not in the classroom. Having been named Outstanding College Athlete of American in 1969 as a college baseball, Jerry also enjoys watching and playing sports and traveling in his free time.
