August, who studied business administration and psychology, spent many years in retail and healthcare administration before starting up her own consulting firm.
For the past several years, August has consulted to major corporations with problems. She conducts strategic planning and specializes in turnaround, startups and business development. Her focus is in infrastructure that requires changes for better productivity and to adhere to local, state and federal rules that are set forth by government officials.
"Part of my success depends on my ability to motivate my staff members to stay with the company and promote the business," August explained. "I have worked with corporate and SEC lawyers, stockholders, board of directors and the general public to accomplish these objectives."
August is currently working on her first book, entitled, Cat Tales. She hopes to publish many bestselling novels and become internationally known. She's also a real estate agent licensed in both Tennessee and Mississippi with an ABR and GRI designation. In her free time, Jane enjoys vegetable and flower gardening, playing golf, reading and caring for her ten cats and two dogs.
