Hays, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hays Enterprises, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes James M. Hays's commitment to excellence in Hockey and Education.

Hays, who began his business in 2008 after having spine surgery for a blown disc in his back and going through serious physical therapy, wanted to get in shape again, get back to doing what he loved, and make a career out of his favorite sport, hockey.

Having been practice the sport since the young age of three, Hays was able to step back out onto the ice after just under a year after his spinal fusion. Now on a hockey league and concentrating on his biggest passion, with thirty-nine years experience both on outdoor rinks and ponds, he is able to pass on his knowledge. "I wanted to create something that would ensure more support and a better understanding of the game of hockey," he explained, "and to also give myself a chance to be a part of the World of Hockey, to expand not only with local programs but to help support the Olympic programs around the world."

Running all the technical aspects of the business, from creating videos to running ads and promoting his hockey training systems that he endorses, Hays has his hands full. He hopes to soon coordinate all of his sponsored events for promoting the company site and for the game as well and to have the company become a major contributor to charity programs like Hockey Fights Cancer, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners and other area children's hospitals. Hays said, "I'd like to help develop and support a system that would put more countries in the women's Olympic hockey tournament by building a financial program that would give these women more time to work on their game and less on their incomes." He also noted that he'd love to bring the sport to areas where it is not well known and help make it sustainable for the economy of that particular region.

An internet marketing consultant, broker and more recently working in the field of high pressure valves, hydraulics and transportation of hazardous materials, Hays is a member of the USA Hockey Association and is a strong supporter of the USA Hockey Foundation. In his free time, James enjoys fishing and canoeing.
