Biltmore Who's Who Selects Harold Goedde as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY (1888PressRelease) April 10, 2012 - Harold Goedde, Retired Professor and Certified Public Accountant of Harold Goedde, CPA, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Harold Goedde's commitment to excellence in Higher Education and Accounting.
Goedde, who holds a BS in Accounting from Lincoln University, an MS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, and a PhD in Accounting and Tax from the University of Kentucky, is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant who has been practicing in his field since earning his master's degree in 1966. He worked in St. Louis for a national and a small CPA firm and later as a payroll supervisor at Lincoln University before teaching at the university level for over twenty years.
Having auditing experience in the areas of manufacturing and service companies, Goedde headed several large manufacturing firms and prepared individual tax returns prior to teaching. He taught full-time at several universities, including Kentucky State University, Marshall University in West Virginia and State University at Oneonta, as well as part-time for Rensslaer Polytechnic University and Siena in the areas of financial accounting, auditing, finance and tax. After earning his doctoral degree he was able to teach junior, senior and graduate courses in financial accounting. Goedde also taught individual taxation and corporation-partnership tax and served as an advisor to numerous accounting clubs and for Beta Alpha Psi at several universities, helping students who volunteered their time preparing income tax returns for elderly people.
Now retired from teaching, Goedde is self-employed doing individual tax work exclusively. He hopes to learn more about corporation and partnership taxation in the near future so he can incorporate them into his business.
Goedde is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs Tax Division, Delta Mu Delta National Business Honorary Society, Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Honorary Society, and Schnectady Kiwanis Club. He also volunteers for AARP's individual income tax preparation program. He is a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, Schenectady Kiwanis Foundation and various other charities.
