Hanson, who holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University, began working as a computer programmer with a local book and office supply company in 1975 and spent the next fifteen years in application development and later in data integration and solutions.
Currently, Hanson's responsibilities vary from acting as a solutions engineer by assisting in the sales process to product/service developer creating collateral or IP to solutions architect by conducting planning assessments. His strong understanding of data architecture, data warehouse and business intelligence disciplines, as well as applying best practices and utilizing a collaborative leadership style, has given him the footing he needs to do his job well. From a technology perspective, Hanson's skills and guiding principles have allowed him to achieve many of his goals. "One of my personal goals," he explained, "is to make a difference, such as an analytic roadmap or architecture framework of analytic solutions that not only have a positive impact on a company, but to healthcare as a whole."
Planning to continue the effort in building out an analytic consulting practice in the healthcare market place, Hanson hopes to "bring passion and know-how to the table to lead a team" to make a difference in healthcare. Analytic Data Solutions, LLC is an IT solutions consulting company with a strong business orientation specializing in creating a comprehensive Enterprise Analytic Environment (EAE) strategic roadmap or program plan. This roadmap coupled with the foundation components of the business vision/drivers and the architecture blueprint provides the means to execute the appropriate sequence of projects achieving business value-add analytic solutions.
Over the years, Hanson has received a number of awards, including a Chairman's Award for Outstanding Performance. He has created an enterprise data architecture strategy supporting both data management and SOA directions, and played a leadership role by being instrumental in the development and deployment of an enterprise data warehouse environment for a large healthcare organization. He's also the author and creator of Healthcare Analytic Accelerators, a comprehensive service/product offering a framework and reference architecture to help build a healthcare analytic environment. In his free time, Gary enjoys skiing, golf, and spending time with his family.
