- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) January 29, 2011 - Elizabeth M. Costa, Project Manager for Xactly Corporation, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Elizabeth M. Costa's commitment to excellence in the field of Software.
Costa, who holds a BBA in Computer Information Software and Accounting from Dominican College, is a certified project management professional with over three decades of experience in her field.
Starting out in 1980 in the technical field and rapidly advancing to a leadership role as a team leader and later a project manager, Costa has been managing medium to large-scale software implementation projects for nearly thirty years. She spent eleven years in the SAP implementation area and the past ten years in the sales performance/variable compensation/enterprise incentive management space. She maintains full responsibility for the project delivery and financial budget of implementation projects with her clients and manages multiple projects for various customers in many industries when necessary. "The relationship established with the customer," she said, "is key to effectively managing their expectations, as well as our company's ability to deliver viable solutions for them.
By combining her technology and financial skills to her academic studies, Costa has become a very valuable asset to her company. "I continue to master new, creative ways to manage, depending on the team I am working with," she explained. "Flexibility is necessary, as every project presents its own unique challenges that must be addressed."
Planning to continue working in the technology industry, Costa will remain flexible as technology changes. She hopes to someday become a mentor to those in her field, so she can help them grow within their own organizations.
Costa is a member of the Project Management Institute, American Association of University Women and Alpha Chi and was admitted into the partnership at Grant Thornton. She's received numerous awards, including a President's Club and X-Factor Award from her current company and a President's Club and Executive of the Year Award from Callidus Software. She's also been the recipient of numerous achievement awards throughout her career from other various organizations. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading and traveling.
