Biltmore Who's Who Selects Dorothy Jean McPhaul as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Dorothy Jean McPhaul's commitment to excellence in Retail and Antiques.
McPhaul, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Prairie View A&M University, taught for thirty-eight years in LaGrange, Texas before hanging up her hat to take over her fourth generation family antique shop.
Johnnie's Antiques, which was founded by McPhaul's grandfather eighty-two years ago, has been a staple in Austin for as long as many can remember. Having operated the business since 1994, she serves as secretary, market researcher, business development consultant, manager and owner of the shop and also hosts antique shows throughout the year. With collections that appeal to all ages, this antique store has something for everyone, including jewelry, pottery, glass, Tiffany, porcelain, ceramics, toys, dolls and more.
"My goal is not just simply to meet our customers' needs, but to exceed all expectations by providing them with high quality collectables, competitive prices, and be a trusted advisor, if needed," McPhaul said.
McPhaul is a member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta. When Dorothy isn't busy working, she enjoys cooking, reading and traveling.
