Becker, who founded his solar electric company in 1990, first started out as a C-10 electrical general contractor in the state of California. After moving into a cabin in the Sierra Mountains in the northern part of the state that was powered with four solar electric panels, his interest in the business grew dramatically.
After building his own solar system up and helping neighbors in the area, Becker decided to spearhead the industry while it was still relatively new. Currently designing full solar electric power systems, he also assists in engineering, sales, installation and the service of his products and handles the procurement of individual system components, including solar electric panels, support racking, DC combiners, power inverters, AC and DC safety disconnects and storage batteries. In addition, Becker advertises his products and services and oversees accounting and cash flow.
