Biltmore Who's Who Selects Cynthia Fabian
The selection recognizes Cynthia Fabian's commitment to excellence in Writing Children's Books.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) March 24, 2011 - Cynthia Fabian has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Cynthia Fabian's commitment to excellence in Writing Children's Books.
Fabian, Author of Those Sweet Nothings, Second Hand Art and most recently, Orchestra in Our Brain, has been writing children's books for some time now. Her second children's book focuses on beginner and intermediate level readers, and is considered a book for all those that want to overcome an obstacle.
An eclectic author, Fabian is able to capture and express how she imagines the characters in all of her stories, including in her latest book, Orchestra in Our Brain, due to hit stands in April, 2011. The book features Robert, a child with epilepsy, and how the teacher helps him cope with his seizures by using musical metaphors to watch how the brain works during a seizure. "Having epilepsy myself, I wanted to write about the disease and help children who are struggling with seizures feel normal," Fabian said.
Currently doing speaking engagements and classroom appearances in her free time to promote her book, Fabian looks forward to the success of the book. Daniel Stevens is the featured illustrator, and his works can be also be found in Second Hand Art. Her next book, Can't and Able, is due out this fall.
Fabian holds a Master's Degree in TESOL from St. John's University and a Bachelor's Degree in English writing and journalism from Queens College, and is a past school teacher of over fifteen years.
