- Omaha, NE-IA (1888PressRelease) May 04, 2011 - Curtis W. Shull, General Manager for NECO, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Curtis W. Shull's commitment to excellence in Manufacturing.
Shull, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, began working in his field in 1983, working in automotive, HVAC, metal building and agriculture.
Currently overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility with approximately one hundred twenty five employees and a managing staff of eleven management employees, Shull also oversees all financial operations while maintaining the division.
"Starting off working at the ground level and experiencing all aspects of manufacturing has given me insight and knowledge to become successful in management," Shull explained about his success thus far. He noted that he has had some great mentors over the years that have taught him and passed on their knowledge, which has benefited him greatly. One gentleman in particular, Brian Bill, he said, "gave me some great advice that inspired me to start my journey into the management sector".
Hoping to receive his executive masters of business administration in the future, Shull is Lean certified and ISO 9001:2000 certified. In his free time, Curtis coaches youth sports, which he's been doing for over twenty years, volunteers with his local church, Fort Calhoun Presbyterian, and enjoys playing golf.
