Biltmore Who's Who Selects Claudia Greenwood as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Lexington, KY (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2011 - Claudia Greenwood, Administrative Assistant for Knox County Attorney's Office, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Claudia Greenwood's commitment to excellence in Law.
Greenwood, who holds both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education, has been working in her current role since 2004, after retiring from teaching after twenty-seven years.
In her current role, Greenwood represents the county attorney at both civic and business meetings, serves on the district adult drug court team and as co-chair for the Knox County Unlawful Narcotics Investigations Treatment and Education Coalition (UNITE), writes grants, assists clients in the county attorney's office, and also does public relations work.
Having worked in education for many years, Greenwood gained a lot of experience that she was able to take with her, including serving on many school, district and state committees, as well as writing educational grants. She also has prior work experience working in a law firm before she began teaching.
"I have always enjoyed doing secretarial work," Greenwood said. Organizational and secretarial skills have always been easy for me."
Planning to continue working with groups within her city and county to make her community a better place to live, Greenwood hopes to stay employed with her
organization for a few more years.
Greenwood serves as the Woman's Missionary Union Director for the Knox Association of Baptists, donating a lot of her time to spearhead mission projects for the US. She also works with the Knox County Chamber, the Barbourville Main Street Program, Green Dot Community Prevention Team, Knox County Healthy Communities Coalition, and is an active member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church. She's the recipient of numerous awards, including a Teacher of the Year Award and an Operation UNITE Rising Above Award for Leadership. She was also named Corbin Times Tribute Woman of the Year in 2008. When Claudia isn't busy working or volunteering, she enjoys reading.
